2 What this website does not do
We keep the processing small. This website
- loads no fonts, maps, videos or scripts from third-party servers; every file sits on our own web server,
- offers no file upload,
- builds no user profiles and uses no advertising technology,
- uses nothing requiring consent — no statistics or analytics tool either. That is why you see no cookie notice here: there is nothing to agree to.
3 Server log files
When you open this website your browser transmits technical data, which our web server stores in log files:
- truncated IP address
- date and time of the request
- page or file requested
- volume transferred and whether the request succeeded
- referring page, where your browser sends one
- browser type and operating system
Purpose: operating and delivering the website, detecting and repelling attacks, tracing technical faults.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website.
Retention: 7 days, then automatic deletion. Longer only where a specific incident requires it.
4 Hosting
This website is operated at IONOS SE. The server location is in Germany. The provider processes the data named under number 3 solely on our behalf and on our instructions. We have concluded a data processing agreement with it under Article 28 GDPR.
5 Enquiry form, e-mail and telephone
Through the enquiry form we collect your name, your company, your e-mail address, your telephone number if you choose to give it, and the content of your enquiry. The fields marked * are needed so that we can reply; the telephone number is optional. The time of submission and a technical check value are transmitted as well, which we use to detect automated submissions.
If you call or write to us instead, we process what you give us — typically the same details.
Purpose: answering your enquiry and the technical and commercial clarification that goes with it.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is directed at a contract or concerns an existing one; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest being to answer enquiries and to protect the form against misuse. No consent is required for this and none is obtained.
Retention: until the enquiry has been dealt with. We then delete, unless a commercial or tax retention obligation applies; depending on the document that is 6 or 10 years.
6 Recipients of your data
Outside our company your data reaches only the hosting provider named under number 4, solely on our behalf.
No transfer to a country outside the European Union takes place.
